Four killed, three injured in city violence


KARACHI: Four people were killed and three others injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Saturday.

A youth, Gul Zarin, 25, son of Shah Zarin, was gunned down by unknown armed men at Karachi Chowk in Machhar Colony. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

According to rescue sources, 23-year-old Anusha wife of Rahman was died to torture by her husband at home at Khushal Chowk in Mohammadi Colony, Machar Colony. The body was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, a man, Asadullah, 32, son of Haji Lal Mohammad was killed by unknown gunmen in Haroonabad SITE area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.

A four year child Mubin son of Zafar was strangulated in Liaquat Ashraf Colony, Mehmoodabad. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

In another incident, three men, Rizwan, 35, son of Zahoor; Maqsood, 40, son of Manzoor and Saqib, 23, son of Saleem were shot and injured by unidentified gunmen near Bismillah Hotel in Pak Colony. They were brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
