Four killed, three injured in different mishaps


KARACHI: Four people, including a minor boy, were killed and three others injured in different incidents in the city on Wednesday. Mirbad Khan, 45, son of Iqbal Khan, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him at Shafique Morr in New Karachi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.

A minor boy, Zamanullah, eight, son of Riaz, was killed when wall collapsed on him at his house in Baldia Town No 12. The boy was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

Iqbal, 60, son of Fateh Muhammad, was killed when a vehicle hit him in Gulistan-e-Johar Block-16. The body was shifted to nearby a private hospital.

Hussain, 35, son of Ahmed, was killed when a vehicle hit him near Sindh Secretariat Building. The body was shifted to CHK for postmortem examination.

Three youth, Arsalan, 22, son of Tariq; Noman, 23, son of Hanif, and Khurshid, 20, son of Abdul Ghafoor, riding a bike were injured when a vehicle hit their motorcycle at Siemens Chowrangi in SITE area. The injured were shifted to CHK for treatment.
