Girl among four killed in Karachi violence


KARACHI: Four people, including a minor girl, were killed in Karachi violence on Sunday. A minor girl, Kalsoom, nine, daughter of Shabir, was killed by an stray bullet at Cattle Colony in Landhi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, an unidentified man was killed by unknown armed men in Manghopir area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for a postmortem examination.

In another incident, a man was shot dead by unknown armed motorcyclists at Babar Market in Landhi. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained yet.

The body of a man bearing torture marks was found from Lasbela River. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained till filing this report.
