Govt facilitating traders for bringing economic revolution: Shahbaz


Karachi: Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that to bring economic revolution, the government is providing all possible facilities to businessmen whereas Pakistan would get rid of energy crises soon.

This was stated by Mian Shahbaz Sharif during meeting with the delegation led by Chief Executive, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, S.M.Muneer. At this occasion, Vice President, FPCCI, S.M.Naseer, President, Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain, Sardar Yasin Malik, Canadian Businessman, Naveed Bukhari and Patron-in-Chief, North Karachi Association, Noor Ahmed Khan were also present.

Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif said that government is fully aware of present issues and doing efforts to improve infrastructure, recent example of which is the construction of Walton Flyover which is completed in just 72 days this would result in saving of fuel by 5 billion rupees per annum. He said that it is the preference of Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif to modernize all provinces and cities of the country and work is being done for it.

Chief Executive, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, S. M. Muneer said that he would try come to the expectation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said that direction has been set under the directives of Ministry of Commerce for TDAP to develop trade and business activities in the country and hoped that Pakistan would be included in the list of developed nations very soon. He said that issues pertaining to fluctuation of price of dollar as well as refund claims of exporters would be resolved so that exports could be double.

At this occasion, Regional Chairman, FPCCI and Vice President, S.M.Naseer said that everyone is well aware about the activities of Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab himself reached common people to provide justice. Positive results are being appeared due to his hard work. He said that present government is working to ensure provision of basic facilities i.e. education, health and water to the people.

President, All Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain said production capacity is being affected due to gas crises in Punjab but electricity crises is very much improved as compared to past for that Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif deserved due appreciation. He said that appointment of S. M. Muneer in TDAP and his policy to take on board all stakeholders would play an important role towards development of Pakistan.
