KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Chief Siraj-ul-Haq said on Tuesday that the government should take indiscriminate action against terrorists regardless of their political affiliation for restoration of lasting peace in the country.
He stated this while talking to media on his arrival at Jinnah International Airport-Karachi here. JI Sindh Ameer Dr Mairaj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, JI Karachi chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, General Secretary Abdul Wahab and other JI leaders were also present on the occasion.
Haq said that the some anti-state elements were trying to use Peshawar incident against Islam and religious seminaries in order to produce anarchy in the country.
JI chief further said that the government should evolve such law through which every criminal regardless of any political, cast and creed should be brought into the court of law.
“The law against terrorists and terrorism should be implemented at all on equal basis, adding that those who are involved in tarnishing the image of mosques and religious seminaries are working on western agenda”, he added.
Haq further said that the conspiracy was being hatched to divide society on the basis of religion.
