KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi amir Engr. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said arrangements have been finalized for a historic reception of JI and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders reaching Karachi on Saturday and a big rally would give them a warm welcome.
Addressing a press conference at the Insaf House, here on Friday, the JI leader announced the route of the rally and said that the leadership of JI and PTI would be welcomed at Star Gate outside the Karachi airport on Saturday noon at 1 pm. Later the leaders would come to the Mazar e Quaid, along with the rally and address it.
He said that both the JI and PTI have their roots in common people and are they are the real representatives of people. He said that they are capable of resolving the issues of Karachi as both believe in honesty, devotion and service.
Talking about the problems of Karachiites, he said that crime and unemployment are main problems of the city.
He vowed to bring a positive change in the city in which youth would be provided with opportunities of job and education on merit.
