JI for unity of oppressed masses


KARACHI: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh chapter Dr Meraj ul Huda Siddiqui said on Monday that unity of the oppressed masses is the biggest challenge for tyrants, adding to get the poor masses united the JI is running a mass contact campaign. He said JI would not leave people alone and it would continue its struggle to pave the way for an Islamic revolution in Pakistan.

H stated this while addressing JI leaders of lower Sindh in Markaz-e-Tableegh Hyderabad, where he reviewed mass contact campaign and other issues.

In meeting JI Provincial General Secretary Mamtaz Hussain Sahito, Vice chief Abdul Ghaffar Umar, Nizamuddin Memon, Dr Fawad Ahmed and Azeem Balouch were present.

Dr Meraj said only an honest leadership can rescue the county from crises; however, JI have such leaderships capable of solving the national issues. He said it is heartening that people have welcomed them through the campaign. He said the time is not away when the laws would be established on the basis of Quran and Sunnah, and resultantly peace and prosperity would be everywhere.

Dr Meraj expressed grief over the casualties in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa due to heavy rains.
