JI pledges to bring change

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) candidate for NA-246 Rashid Naseem has pledged that the JI with the support of people will bring a change in Karachi on April 23.

Addressing public gatherings in Federal B Area here on Wednesday, Rashid Naseem said that the masses with their power of votes on April 23 will reject those elements, who have tarnished the image of Karachi. He said the JI politics is based on tolerance, patience and calmness.

However, the JI workers, in connection with the election campaign, visited door-to-door in the constituency and requested the people to vote for ‘Tarazu’ on April 23. They visited in the areas of Hussainabad, Yaseenabad, Rehmanabad, Liaquatabad and Bandani Colony and also held corner meetings.

On the occasion, Rashid Naseem said that the history shows that the Jamaat-e-Islami has always worked for the welfare and betterment of Karachiites. He said the JI will revive the past glory of Karachi and play its due role in resolving the civic issues of Karachiites including shortage of water, load shedding, poor public transport, joblessness and law and order.

He reiterated that the JI will rid the people of Karachi from the nuisance of targeted killings and extortion and utilize its energies for restoration of peace in Karachi.

He further said that those who claim the mandate of Karachi have miserably failed to provide peace and relief to Karachiites.
