KARACHI: Sindh’s Senior Minister for Education and Information, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, has said that the government does not believe in violence on teachers, but the teachers are bound to obey the law. Table talks are final solution to problems.
He issued this statement in view of violation on teachers gathered outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) for pursuing their demands on Wednesday. Khuhro said the government will consider to solve their demands. He said that every person has right to hold protest in the democracy and in democratic way but crossing the limits of red zones is inappropriate conduct.
He said that the government believes in talks. “If teachers present their legitimate demands, then the government will think to accept their demands. He said that they do not support the violation and arrests of teachers so in this sense, the arrested teachers will be released.
