Mayor pays rich tribute to Quaid-e-Azam
Karachi: Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar on Monday visited the mausoleum of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and laid floral wreath.
Speaking on the occasion, Akhtar said that Quaid-e-Azam gave us an independent country where all citizens have equal rights, urging everyone to protect it and work for its progress.
“We cannot solve the problems, if we don’t follow the principals of Quaid e Azam. The country is going through difficult time, we should work together to for its progress and betterment,” he added.
He was accompanied by the chairman DMC Central Rehan Hashmi, Chairman DMC East Moeed Anwer, DMC Korangi’s vice chairman Ahmer Ali, the parliamentary leader in city council Aslam Shah Afridi, law committee chairman Arif Khan Advocate, land committee chairman Arshad Hassan, chairperson media management committee Sabheen Ghori and others.
