KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday sought comprehensive reply from Director General Rangers Sindh on a petition seeking the whereabouts of a missing man.
SHC bench, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, was hearing the petition filed by the family members of Ehsan, who has been missing and allegedly is in law enforcers’ custody.
The petitioner’s counsel stated that Rangers had picked up Ehsan along with another man, Rafeh who was released by the Rangers, but Ehsan is still missing.
Rangers counsel stated that missing man is not in their custody. The court directed them to submit a comprehensive reply in this regard by 3rd December.
Citing DG Rangers Sindh, IGP Sindh and home secretary as respondents, the petitioner prayed the court to direct the respondents to produce Ehsan before the court.
