KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the bomb blast in mosque located inside the Shahibagh stadium in Peshawar. In a statement released from London, Hussain expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the deaths and the injured. He deplored that despite the ongoing negotiations between the government and Taliban bomb attacks were being carried out. He added that subversive activities were hurting the feelings and national pride of the patriotic people of Pakistan.
Hussain expressed his sympathies and heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families and prayed for the martyred souls. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the people who had been injured in the bomb attack.
He demanded that president, prime minister, federal interior minister should make sure that bomb attacks were not carried during the negotiation process because it challenged our national pride. He demanded that perpetrators should be arrested.
