Karachi: The founder leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Altaf Hussain has expressed grave concern over the sterile reaction by Sindh government regarding the issues of sugarcane growers.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM chief said that millions of tons sugarcane of poor farmers and peasants were left outside the sugar mills but the owners of sugar mills had closed their production to deprive sugarcane producers. He said that the mill had owners forced the farmers to plunge into a new crisis.
Hussain said that MQM is with the farmers of Sindh and would raise the voice against the exploitation of the sugarcane producers. He said that if the owners of sugar mills did not resolve the issue on emergency basis, MQM would announce its action plan.
