KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) observed Eid Milad-un-Nabi with religious zeal and fervor
It decorated Nine-Zero with colorful lights, bounties and decoration pieces. Other offices of zones and provinces also maintained the tradition with appropriate rituals and enthusiasm.
MQM also set up camps for drinking water, food and sweets for the faithfuls throughout the country including Karachi along the routes of 12th Rabiul Awal processions. The MQM workers showered flowers on the participants of the processions.
MQM delegations comprising members coordination committee Amir Khan, Arif Khan Advocate, Haider Abbas Rizvi, MNA Dr Farooq Sattar, MPAs Khawaja Izharul Hassan, Dr Saghir Ahmed, Syed Faisal Sabzwari, Mohammad Dilawar, Mohammad Kamran Farooqui, Abdul Haseeb, Mohammad Anwar Raza, Mohammad Azeem Farooqui, Rehan Zafar, Iftikhar Alam and Jamal Ahmed visited the camps set up in various areas of the city.
MQM leaders and workers felicitated the participants of the processions on behalf of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi. They also distributed food and sweets among them to celebrate the occasion.
