MRC says police can improve Karachi law, order

KARACHI: President of Muhajir Rabita Council (MRC) Pakistan Muhammad Yaqoob Bandhani said on Saturday that Rangers have failed to maintain law and order situation in Karachi, and only police can protect the Karachiites.

Addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club (KPC) he said that innocent people are being killed in the city for many years. He regretted no action is being taken against terrorists who are involved in these killings. He said if the situation remained unchanged they would have to react sharply.

Bandhani further said the government and agencies will have to stop the blood shedding of innocent people. He said we will lodge FIRs against those involved in these killings after consulting with our legal experts.

He o requested to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take a suo moto notice of the Karachi situation.

Muhajir Rabita Council vice president Tasadduq Hussain and General secretary Arshad Siddiqui were present.
