KARACHI: Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh on Human Rights Ms Nadia Gabol said on Tuesday that Pakistan is democratic country where minorities have right to celebrate their religious festivals with zeal anywhere in the country.
In a statement, Nadia said that celebrating such festivals in secure environment shows minorities’ rights are more protected in Pakistan. She congratulated the Hindu community on the eve of its Diwali Festival.
Nadia said that the contribution of Hindu community to strengthening Pakistan as economical strong and sound is appreciable. She said Sindh government has top priority to protect rights of Hindu people, particularly for jobs.
