Nahida to lead Pakistan ‘A’ against Sri Lankan counterparts


Karachi: Nahida Khan has been named to lead Pakistan Women’s ‘A’ team during the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.

Pakistan Women’s ‘A’ team is scheduled to play three one-day matches and as many T-20 matches from November 12 to 24 against Sri Lanka Women’s ‘A’ team.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced a 14-member squad along with two reserve players.

The team management comprises of Tahir, Mahmood (Coach), Ajab Gul Khan (Trainer), Naz-e-Alam Sherazi (Manager) and Kaniz Rabia (Physiotherapist).

Nahida Khan (Captain), Umaima Sohail, Fariha Mahmood, Hafza Amjad, Sana Taj, Kainat Hafeez, Muneeba Ali, Sidra Nawaz (WK), Sana Gulzar, Nashra Sindhu, Sadia Yousaf, Aiman Anwer, Kainat Imtiaz, Waheeda Akhter.

Reserves: Maham Tariq, Norina Khalil.
