NEDOA office-bearers take oath

Karachi: NED Officers Association’ (NEDOA) office associates for 2015-17, took oath from the Vice Chancellor of NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET) Prof. Dr Mohammad Afzal Haque here on Thursday at Auditorium of the University (Main Campus).

The Oath Taking Ceremony commenced with recitation from Holy Quran where the chief guest was NEDUET’ VC Prof Dr Mohammad Afzal Haque.

The oath was taken by President Arshad Ali Khan, Vice President Zahid Nisar Ahmed, General Secretary Engineer Danish-ur-Rehman Khan, Joint Secretary Rehan Khan, Treasurer Mohammad Laiq, members of Executive Committee Yasir Raza Sheikh, Arshad Nisar, Khuram Masood, Aamir Naseer and Ms Shaheen Attique.

General Secretary Danish said they will work proactively to achieve their agenda and resolve the problems that officers face at the University and outside it. He said the first step would be taken by this association to establish a NED Officers Club” for all present and retired officers of this University.

He said to achieve the agenda of NEDOA they also need the support from VC Dr Afzal. He invited teachers to get membership to widen their struggle to achieve goals for the officers.

The moot was attended by NEDUET’ Registrar Prof Dr Syed Ghazanfar Hussain, NETA’ President Prof Dr Syed Usman Ali Shah, Dean faculty of Civil Engineering Prof Dr Farosh Lodhi, Dean faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof Dr Tufail Jokhio and others.
