Pakistan hit by load shedding, inflation

KARACHI: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Leader Rashid Naseem said on Monday that the country has been surrounded by critical problems including excessive load shedding, inflation, poverty and worst law and order situation.

Addressing a public gathering in Korangi, Naseem said that the problems faced by the country were due to non-implementation of Islamic teachings. “Islamists have not only been suppressed in Pakistan but also in other parts of the world including Bangladesh, Syria, and Egypt,” he said.

He said that only five percent people in the country were passing a luxurious life while others were facing difficulties in earning their bread. He said that instead of establishing an Islamic welfare state, the country has been forced to towards darkness by land lords and liberal forces and only way to bring it out right track was to implement teachings of Islam.
