Pakistan prepares to host West Asia Division 3 Tournament

Karachi: The camp of Pakistan Rugby team has started under the supervision of Head Coach Roger Combous at Punjab University New Campus in Lahore for the upcoming A5N West Asia Division 3 Tournament.

Pakistan will be hosting the said tournament next month in which India, Lebanon and Uzbekistan teams will also participate.

Head coach Roger Combous said that his boys have been working hard to prepare for the tournament. “The boys are working hard and they must do so to put impressive show in the event as India, Lebanon and Uzbek teams all are very strong sides.”

The tournament is 15-a-side event. A 24-member Pakistan team will be announced in the first week of June.

Meanwhile, tournament organizing committee head Rizwan Malik said that all participating teams have confirmed their participation.

“We have almost completed the arrangements for the event and hopefully we will be able to organize this tournament in a befitting manner as we did when we organized Under19 Rugby Tournament earlier this year,” he said.
