Paramedics demand son quota in jobs


Karachi: President Pakistan Paramedical Staff Association (PPMSA) Karachi Division Muhammad Nazeer Abbasi on Tuesday demanded of the provincial government to give proper share of jobs to paramedics sons in recruitment in Civil Hospital Karachi trauma centre.

In a statement, Abbasi said it was learned that provincial government was planning to recruit their favorite people in newly established trauma centre Karachi. He said recruitment in trauma centre is first right paramedics’ sons who should be recruited on priority basis.

He said if the government did not give proper share of jobs to paramedics sons, then they would be compelled to devise future line of action in this regard and administration would be held responsible for it.

He said so-called splinter groups of paramedical had badly damaged the reputation and confidence of employees in the past so paramedics should be careful of such people in future. He said some vested interests were trying to create misunderstanding among paramedics but they could not success in their nefarious designs. He said paramedics would get their due right if they showed patience and determination in future.
