PCG seizes 30,000 liters petroleum


KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) officials claimed to have seized illegal crude oil tanker at Ibrahim Hydri, Korangi. Spokesperson PCG Major (R) Zafar Ahmed said on Sunday that during special checking PCG officials recovered over 30,000 liters of crude oil from an oil tanker at Ibrahim Hydri in Korangi.

He said that oil tanker was involved in diesel smuggling. Approximately value of seized petroleum was Rs 4.5 million in the open market, he said.

Further investigation and legal process was underway.
