KARACHI: Pakistan Islamic Medical Association’s (PIMA) three-day 23rd biennial international convention concluded here on Sunday. Leader of Houses in Senate Raja Zafar ul Haq was the chief guest on the occasion, while Senior Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Siraj ul Haq and Oriya Maqbool Jan was the guests of honour.
Addressing the participants, Raja Zafar ul Haq stressed the unity of Muslim-e-Ummah. He said, “I understand that if something better can be done for Muslim Ummah, it can be start from Pakistan.”
He appreciated PIMA for organizing three-day international convention on health issues.
Senior Minister and Amir Jamaat-e- Islami Sirajul Haq said: “Today I am attending PIMA convention as a delegate and consider this forum bigger than OIC.”
He said that Muslim world is going through various crisis and is divided in various sects. Over 2000 health professionals from across the country and abroad attended the event.
