KARACHI: South Zone police claimed to have arrested 65 criminals including three gang war culprits and recovered a kidnapped girl in three different encounters in metropolis on Thursday.
Under the directions of DIG south Dr Jameel Ahmad operation against criminals, Mahmoodabad and Bagdadi police conducted separate raids and after encounter arrested three gang war criminals, Zoahaib Baloch, Ajaz Baloch and Shabbir Ahmad were arrested. Three avian bombs and three pistols were recovered from their possession. They said criminals were wanted also in different terrorism cases.
Meanwhile, Garden, Eidgah, Aram Baugh, Gizri, Baloch Colony and Mochko police captured six criminals, Kamaran Hussain, Hatim, Shafi Alam, Mubin Khan, Shehzad and Mohammad Ali alias Rado during operation against dacoits, street criminals and motorcycle lifters. Five pistols, snatched motorcycles and looted valuables were recovered from their possession.
South Zone police arrested five wanted criminals in drug cases and recovered eight bottles vine and 2Kg hashes.
Meanwhile, 27 absconder culprits were arrested, who wanted to police in different cases. They said 24 other criminals were also arrested who were involved in different cases.
Baghdadi police said that they have recovered a kidnapped girl, Najma daughter of Usman from her kidnapers.
