PPP leader denies assistance to terrorists


KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Abdul Qadir Patel on Friday rejected the allegation for rendering assistance to terrorists.

In a statement, he said he has been facing a media trial. About his meetings with Dr Asim Hussain, he said that these meetings were informal.

About the relations with Uzair Baloch, he said that he met Uzair in the tenure of Dr Zulfiqar Mirza when he was Sindh Home Minister but later his party severed all relations with Uzair due to his involvement in terrorism.
