PRCS establishes medical Camp for mourners


KARACHI: Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh Branch has established two-day medical camp in connection with Youm-e-Ashoor at Numaish Chowrangi here on Monday.

The PRCS Sindh medical team comprises doctors and paramedical staff for providing first aid to mourners on 9th to 10th of Muharram in case of any untoward incident. The PRCS Sindh ambulances has also been arranged in this regard.

In statement, Chairperson PRCS Sindh Farzana Naik said like every year, a two-day medical camp was established in Numaish Chowrangi under the supervision of Provincial Secretary Kanwar Waseem.

She said medical team remained present in the camp to provide treatment to mourners of procession from morning to till night, while emergency response teams of PRCS have also been put on high alert to deal with any untoward emergency situation.

Meanhwile, Peoples Paramedical Staff Welfare Association Pakistan will establish medical camp on 10th Muharram at MA Jinnah Road near Radio Pakistan. All kind first aid facilities would be provided in camp.

The camp will be established under the supervision of Central President, Peoples Paramedical Staff Welfare Association Pakistan, Syed Ameer Hussain Shah, Central Vic-President Abdul Rehman Sangi, Iqbal Channa and Murtaza Haideri. The first aid camp will start from 9:00 am and continue till 12:00 pm.
