Karachi: Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said on Monday that it intends to submit condemnation resolutions in Sindh and Punjab assemblies against MQM’s Chief Altaf Hussain’s statement against Pakistan Army.
PTI’s MPA Khurum Sher Zaman, talking to PPI said the leadership of PTI decided to go to parliament and demand a judicial inquiry against MQM’s chief and to set the ethics for media as no one can play the emotions of Pakistanis.
He said, people of Pakistan are emotionally attached to the Pakistan Army as are ready to fight shoulder by shoulder with them on borders. He said Pakistan Army is not only vigilant to guard our borders, but also serve the nation in case of natural disasters.
Responding to a question, he said, they are only four members in Sindh assembly but are equal to 40 members. He said they are fully confident that they will be successful to get their resolution passed with majority from the Sindh Assembly. He hoped that Punjab assembly would also pass the resolution.
He said if any parliamentary party opposes these resolutions they will have to face the public.
