KARACHI: Deputy Secretary General Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Ismail on Tuesday flayed Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for announcing imposing new taxes and said that government was not serious in giving any relief to people.
In a statement, issued from PTI central media cell Karachi, he said that on one side government highly claiming economic stability after receiving billions of dollars as a gift while on the other side it announcing rising taxes on the bases of new foreign depts. He added that this was akin to putting salt on the wounds of masses.
He urged the government to take solid steps for stability of economy instead of receiving foreign debts on high interest rate. “Curbing of corrupt elements exited in all institutions is inevitable for economic growth,” he concluded.
