PVCA condoles over demise of veteran cricketer Amir Khan


Karachi: Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) has condoled over the tragic death of Lt. Col. (Rtd) Mohammad Amir Khan.

Fawad Ijaz Khan Chairman PVCA said all the senior and veteran cricketers of Karachi are shocked at the sudden and untimely death Amir Khan.

Amir Khan was a medium pace bowler and an opening batsman. He used to play regular senior and veteran cricket matches organized by Sindh Seniors Welfare Cricket Association Karachi.

He has also represented Karachi Veterans Team in the National Veterans Cup organized by PVCA. Col. Amir was also a very good golfer. He played Golf on last Wednesday and complained to his friends about headache. He was admitted to PNS Shifa on last Thursday.

Amir Khan aged 54years old died of Meningitis on Monday. He was laid to rest at Gizri graveyard.

Ashiq Hussain Qureshi C.E.O of PVCA, Alamgir Ahmed Chairman SSWA and Amjad Islam Chief Executive of SSWA also condoled over the tragic death.
