KARACHI: Paramilitary force rangers arrested two alleged terrorists of banned outfit Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and recovered a motorcycle laden with explosive material and IED from them in Muslimabad Colony in the city on Monday.
According to spokesmen of rangers, on a tip-off, Pakistan rangers Sindh conducted a targeted raid in Muslimabad Colony within the limits of Quaidabad and saved Karachi from a sabotage attack. He said that terrorists were preparing a motorcycle based improvised explosive device (IED).
He said that terrorists tried to flee; however, the rangers chased and arrested two of them. He said that rangers also started a search operation for arresting their accomplices.
He said that explosive-laden motorcycle and explosive material were recovered from the scene. Further investigation was under way.
