KARACHI: Roshni Helpline, an NGO working for the protection of children, on Thursday showed solidarity with the victims of Peshawar incident by holding demonstration at Karachi Press Club (KPC).
A large number of students from May Field School Gulshan-e-Iqbal, carrying placards and banners, showing grievance over the Peshawar carnage.
They also showed solidarity with survivors of the incident. Civil society activists also joined the demonstration. The protesters showed the unity with Pakistan Army and appreciated their efforts to ensure the protection of Pakistan.
Roshni Helpline president Mohammad Ali strongly condemned the incident and emphasized to strengthen the security in schools especially in KPK. He said the terrorists had no religion and no humanity. Roshni Helpline extended deepest sympathies and condolence to the families of the victims.
