KARACHI: Pakistan Flour Mills Association announcing to cut down Rs1 on flour per kilo said that wheat flour would be sold at Rs38.50 per kg from mills in the city.
The price cut was carried out on the request of Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui who welcomed the decision.
Siddiqui hoped that the association would continue this kind of decisions in the interest of common people in future too.
Secretary Pakistan Flour Mills Association (South Zone) Sindh said that it was hoped that Food Department Government of Sindh would call off section 144 in the best interest of people.
He said that on the request of the commissioner the association has cut down Rs1 on flour from May 21st.
“Now a 10 kg bag would be available at all flour mills fair price shops at Rs385,” he added.
