Karachi: South Asian Journal of Management Sciences, brainchild of Editor-In-Chief Mohammad Imtiaz Subhani, won third position in ‘ScholarOne Vision Award 2015′.
Thomson Reuters conducted this ‘ScholarOne Vision Award 2015’and top awards were given to those international journals, which pioneers to recognize innovative solutions for disseminating scientific research. The awards ceremony was held on April 15-16, 2015 at Lisbon, Portugal.
Dr Subhani, who heads Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), Iqra University along with Amber Osman, the Managing Editor, received the award in Lisbon.
Meanwhile, Margot Puerta for Molecular Medicine Journal, New York (USA) and Ron Goldfarb for IEEE Magnetic Letters Journal, Colorado (USA) have won first and second place in the competition respectively.
The audience of Thomson Reuters included Taylor & Francis, Sage Publications, IOP Publishing, Royal Society of Chemistry, BMJ, COPE, Wiley, INASP, Cambridge University Press, Cross Ref, Oxford University Press, Emerald Publishing, SciELO and many other leading journals and publishers.

Thomson Reuters introduced ‘ScholarOne Triathlon Awards’ in the year 2013 and South Asian Journal of Management Sciences also won that prestigious award also.
In order to keep our journal at par with international standards and to compete at the top level is a challenging task. But over the years, with continuous hard work and dedication, we have achieved this milestone, Dr Subhani said on his return from Lisbon.
