Seven killed in two encounters


KARACHI: Rangers claimed seven alleged terrorists were killed in separate encounters in the metropolis on Saturday.

According to Rangers spokesperson, Rangers conducted a raid in Gadap Town near Gulshan-e-Maymar on spy information. He said suspects opened fire on rangers and in exchange of fire three of them were killed. Rangers recovered weapons from their possession while, further investigation is under way.

Another raid was conducted by Rangers in Pak Colony, Old Golimar, where four alleged suspects were killed in shootout. One suspect was identified as Babul Dada. They were members of a banned outfit. Rangers said suspects opened fire on Rangers and in retaliation 4 terrorists were killed.
