KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism Sharmila Farooqui will inaugurate eight tourist huts and a restaurant on 12 April 2014 under Gorakh hills station development scheme.
Sindh Tourism Department has taken a leap forward to promote tourism in the province. These projects have been completed within the ambit of total scheme allocation of Rs 999 million.
According to details, eight tourist huts have been completed with a cost of Rs 25 million, whereas the construction of restaurant has been accomplished with a cost of Rs 32.158 million.
Furthermore, at the time of inauguration of the aforementioned components of the scheme, stone laying ceremony of remaining eight summer resorts will also be held.
It is pertinent to mention here that other components of the scheme like water supply, building structure (including police pickets), road mile stones, caution boards, internal electric system, electricity supply from Wahi Pandhi to Gorakh Hills Station, bridge, approaches and cause ways have already been completed.
