KARACHI: Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) on Wednesday flayed SHC administration for renting out the portion of SHC’s newly constructed administration block for establishing cafeteria, courier service and law book shops.
It demanded of SHC administration to withdraw the expression of interest notice.
The SHCBA in resolution unanimously adopted by its general body meeting with president ZK Jatoi in chair said that SHC was constitutional entity and country constitution does not allow it to engage in any commercial activity.
It said that provincial government had got constructed the building and handed over to SHC for judicial work, adding that the building could not be used for other purpose.
