KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday issued notices to Sindh Rangers director general, home secretary and SHO Baghdadi, directing them to submit their comments on a petition seeking whereabouts of a missing journalist.
Zahid Hussain, who worked in Daily Jasarat a local Urdu newspaper, has been missing since 3rd October.
The SHC bench headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto took up the petition filed by Noor Hussain, the father of missing journalist, who moved the court against law enforcers for illegally detaining his son. The petitioner stated that his son went to Lyari’s Baghdadi area on 3rd October, but did not return home.
