Six killed in separate accidents


KARACHI: Six people, including a young girl, were killed in separate accidents in the city on Tuesday.

A youth, Owais, 20, son of Saleem, resident of Shah Faisal, was killed when a vehicle hit him near Manzil Pump in Bhense Colony, Landhi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

A man, Ameer Baseer, 45, son of Abdullah, was electrocuted to death in an accident at his home in Nazimabad No 4. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

A teenager girl, Amber, 18, daughter of Abdul Rasheed, shot herself to death, allegedly committing suicide, at her home near Warsi Bakery in Mohabbat Nagar, Malir 15. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

An unidentified man, aged 35, was found dead due to excessive use of drugs beneath Rexar Flyover in Golimar, Nazimabad. The body was shifted to mortuary.

Zeeshan Raza, a youth, aged 18, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him near Aisha Manzil chowrangi in Federal B Area. The body was shifted to ASH for post-mortem.

A woman, Shehnaz Begum, wife of Ameer Bukhsh, died after falling from a lift in Chhipa Asian Apartments in Clifton. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.
