SMIU entry test held

KARACHI: Sindh Madressatul Islam University conducted pre-entry test for admission Spring 2014-15 for its five department’s viz. Business Administration, Computer Science, Media Studies, Education and Environmental Sciences on Sunday at its premises.

A large number of girl and boy students appeared in the test aiming that they will be successful in getting admission in the Alma Mater of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

There was a festive atmosphere of the university, where candidates along with their parents were present in the campus. Each and every candidate was eager to become a future student of SMI University.

Dr Mohammad Ali Shaikh, Vice Chancellor of Sindh Madressatul Islam University also observed the test process and said that it was his prime objective to bring Sindh Madressatul Islam University to the level of the universities of developed countries in quality and facilities.

He said that it was a success story of Sindh Madressatul Islam University that it had established its reputation within a short period of just three years of its establishment in 2012. Like the historic track record of Sindh Madressatul Islam, founded in 1885, the SMI University is also imparting quality education with highly qualified faculty having most modern facilities. This is why SMIU has drawn an attention of students to get modern and quality education at SMI University.

After test on a query many students remarked that it was their dream to be a part of this first Modern Muslim educational institution of Pakistan, and second of the subcontinent, after Aligarh University.
