Sports: Cricket: Khalid stars in TouchMe XI triumph


Karachi: Pakistan cricket team batsman Khalid Latif played an impressive 86-run knock to help TouchMe XI record a convincing 64-run win against Bank Islami in 27th Aga Khan Ramzan Festival T-20 Cricket Tournament here at Aga Khan Gymkhana on Tuesday.

TouchMe XI batted first in the match and put on board 195-4 in allotted 20 overs. Khalid Latif played an explosive 86-run knock off 56 balls with the help of five sixes and seven boundaries. Moazzam Ali (69 runs) also batted well for the side.

Bank Islami in reply scored a measly total of 113 runs losing all of their wickets in 19.5 overs. Asif Siddiqui top scored for the side with 36 runs. Mohammad Zubair captured four wickets while Shahid Khan took three wickets for the victors in the match.
