Sports: Cricket: PCB U-16 Talent Hunt Program begins in Karachi on April 26


Karachi: The PEPSI-PCB Stars for U-16 Talent Hunt Program begins in Karachi here at National Stadium from April 26.

On April 26, trials will be conducted for the players belonging from Nazimabad, North Nazimabad, FB Area, Liaquatabad, North Karachi, New Karachi, Buffer Zone, Orangi Town, Qasba Colony, Baldia town, Site Area, Keamari, Surjani Town, Pak Colony, Golimar, Sher Shah, Manghopir, Sorab Goth, Sir Syed Town, Ajmer Nagri and Metroville.

The following day, trials will be conducted for players of Jamshed Road, Garden, Bahadurabad, Tariq Road, Nursery, Akhtar Colony, Kala Pull, Burns Road, Saddar, Defense Clifton, Shaheed e Millat Road, PECHS, Mehmoodabad, Jehangir Road, Sultanabad, PIB Colony, Haji Camp, Lines Area, Pakistan Quarter and Soldier Bazar.

On the final day of the trials on April 28, players will appear for the trials from Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Steel Town, Bin Qasim, Shah Faisal, KDA Society, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, Model Colony, Airport, Malir Cantt, Khokhrapar and Pehlwan Goth.

All players participating in the trials are advised to bring their NADRA “B” or NADRA Birth Certificate for age verification.

All participants are advised to come in white cricket clothing and playing kits along with their own cricket gear and equipment.

The cut-of-date for the birth certificate for U-16 players eligible to participate in trials is September 01, 1997.
