Sports: Cycling: Pak cyclists to feature in Asian Cycling Championship

Karachi: Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) has announced that it will send Pakistani cyclists to Astana, Kazakhstan to participate in Asian Cycling Championship, which will run from May 20 to June 1. PCF will send both male and female national teams in the tournament. Pakistan will send a contingent of fifteen members comprising of both cyclists and officials for the tournament.

The selection committee comprising of Shiekh Ejaz, Tariq Alvi, Munawar Baseer Ahmad, Nusrat Khan and Sardar Nazakat Ali will meet on April 18 in Lahore to finalize the selection of the team for the tournament.

President PCF Munawar Baseer Ahmad, Asghar Bodla Sr. Vice President and Syed Azhar Ali Shah Secretary General PCF will also attend the Asian Cycling Confederation Congress meeting on May 27 at Astana.
