Karachi: The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) is all set to host Jubilee Insurance 2nd Asian Team Championship and 3rd 6-Red Snooker Championship from August 17 to 23 here at Avari Towers.
Apart from Pakistan, cueists from Afghanistan, UAE, Syria, Qatar, India, Thailand and Bahrain will also be seen in action during the two events.
India has registered a contingent of ten persons, which include nine players and a coach. Pakistan would also be fielding nine players for both events and two standby players for the team event, subject to ACBS permission for four teams, which PBSA has requested.
Muhammad Asif is the defending Champion for the 6-Red event, which he had won in Doha, Qatar last year.
Meanwhile, the ACBS has extended the last date of submission of entries till July 27.
