Karachi: Favorite Malik Hamza eased into second round of men’s singles event after beating Murad Khan in the first round in 13th Westbury Open Ranking Tennis Championship 2015 here at DA Creek Club on Sunday.
Malik Hamza took a 5-2 lead against his first round opponent Murad Khan before the later retired hurt from the match.
Meanwhile, second seed Syed Zuhair Raza overpowered Ebad Sarwar and recorded a convincing 6-2, 6-3 triumph.
Dawar Rehan thrashed Ibrahim Iltifat registering a formidable 6-1, 6-0 victory.
