Stop power cuts at prayer time

KARACHI: General Secretary Pasban-e-Pakistan Usman Muazzam has said the government should stop fleecing citizens and end shutting down electricity supply at the times of Sehr, Iftar and prayers in the holy month of Ramazan.

He said present government should take solid steps rather buying more time. Saying sorry from the government side was not the solution to load shedding issue, he added.

“The politicians who used hand fans at Minar-e-Pakistan against load shedding and held photos sessions in courts after registering cases should not seek apology when they are in rule and instead they should take serious steps to end load shedding,” he said.

He said that all the pre and post election claims of these politicians were no more than stunts to get media coverage.
