Task Force constituted to improve health delivery standards at CHK
KARACHI:Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) has constituted an 11-member task force to improve health delivery standards at Sindh’s largest tertiary care hospital.
The Medical Superintendent Civil Hospital Karachi has formed 11-memer task force of senior offices to bring improvement to health delivery standards. Additional Medical Superintendent (AMS) CHK Dr Rubina Bashir has been appointed as head of task force and senior health experts present its recommendations to MS soon.
The key responsibilities of task force are evaluation and examine performance of human resources working in CHK, point out deficiencies in the hospital, propose recommendations and future plan, ensure availability of life-saving drugs and others.
Medical Superintendent, CHK, Dr Khadim Qureshi, while talking to PPI, said efforts were underway to transform CHK in model teaching hospital; therefore, a task force had been formed to identify deficiencies through experts. He informed that task force would present its recommendations and suggestions soon to improve health delivery standard in health facility.
