Three killed, five injured in Karachi


KARACHI: Three persons were killed and five others injured in separate incidents in the city on Tuesday.

An unidentified youth, aged about 25, was killed and unknown teenage boy, aged about 18, were shot and injured by unknown armed men near Kharadar in Lyari. The body and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK).

Furthermore, two persons, Danish, 30, was gunned down and Touseef, 26, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Malir 15. They were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH). Police sources said Dainsh was the activist of Muttahida Qumi Movement at Unit 96.

In another incident, the body of unknown man was found near Hijrat Colony Nullah in Sultanabad. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy.

Yet in another incident, a man, Wali Ahmed, son of Akbar, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Bhainns Colony. The injured was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment.

Separately, a teenage boy, Fahad, 18, son of Bismillah, was injured in firing by unknown armed men near Usmanabad in Lyari. The injured was rushed to CHK for treatment.

Meanwhile, a man, Shahid, 30, son of Lal Bux, was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Mominabad in Orangi town. The injured was rushed to ASH for treatment.
