Three killed, four injured in city

KARACHI: Three persons were killed and four others injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.

Two men, Tausif, 30, son of Abdul Ghaffar, and an unidentified man were killed by unknown armed men in Mominabad in Orangi Town area. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsies. Tausif was employee of a private hospital.

The body of a tortured girl, aged about 20, was recovered from Superhighway near Zikria Goth. It was shifted to ASH for a postmortem.

In another incident, an unknown man was shot and injured near National Stadium. He was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital for treatment.

A youth, Mohammad Zeeshan, 18, son of Maqsood, was injured when unknown gunmen fired shots on him. He was brought to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.

A woman, Ana Naz, 30, wife of Patel, was shot and injured by some robbers on MA Jinnah Road near Rimpa Plaza when she offered resistance to them during robbery. She was shifted to CHK for treatment.

Yet in another incident, a man, Zafar, 32, son of Zaman Ahmad, was wounded to bullets when unknown gunmen opened fire on him at Gora Qabristan Bridge in Shahrah Faisal area. He was rushed to the JPMC for treatment.
