Three killed in Karachi firing incidents


KARACHI: Three persons were killed and three other injured in violent incidents here on Friday. A 25-year-old man, Ghulam Nabi was killed and another 28-year-old man, Abid, son of Ghulam Haider, was injured in firing by unidentified armed men in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The body and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively.

According to police, a 16-year-old youth, Adam Khan, son of Abdul Rehman, was killed in a firing incident at Shaheed-e-Millat Road. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

Some eyewitnesses said that police opened fire on a dacoit but the fire hit 16-year-old youth and the dacoit managed to flee from sight. On the other hand police claimed that the teenager was killed by firing of the robber.

A 40-year-old man, Ali Anwar, son of Syed Ali, was killed in firing of unidentified armed men near Hussainia Iranian Imambargah in Kharadar. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for a postmortem.

A 35-year-old man, Akram, son of Ashiq, was injured in firing by unidentified armed men in Gulistan-e-Johar Block-8. The injured was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.

A 28-year-old man, Rasool Bux, son of Mula Bux, was injured in firing by unidentified armed men in Aaso Goth, Malir. The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment.
