Three killed, seven injured in city


KARACHI: Three persons were killed and seven others injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Saturday.

Two young real brothers, Fazal Karim, 21, son of Abdur Rahman and his brother and Shams Alam, 20, were shot dead while, Abdur Rahman, 55; Abdul Shakoor, 22; and Ayesha, 45, injured when unknown dacoits opened fire on them on resistance at their home in 51-D Bengali Para, Machi Morre in Korangi 100 Quarters area. The bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC).

A man, Danish, aged about, 35, was killed and another Kamran, injured in armed clash between two groups near Nasir School in New Karachi. The body and injured were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH).

Abdul Ghaffar, 40, son of Pir Muhammad, was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Dastagir Hotel on Link Road. He was rushed to JPMC for treatment.

In another incident, a boy, Zubair, 18, son of Noor Muhammad, was wounded by bullets when unknown gunmen opened fire on him in Bacha Khan Chowk, Banarus. He was brought to ASH for treatment.

A woman, Fatima, 45, wife of Mohammad Ali, was injured by unknown armed men in C-1 Area Liaquatabad. She was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
